Hi,
Suppose I have an object foo of type footype
How can I get a ref of the obj without an object
view or table.
That is, in a pl/sql procedure:
I constructed the object foo,
is there a way to get a ref of foo?
Thanks.

In PL/SQL, a pointer has datatype REF X, where REF is short for REFERENCE and X stands for a class of objects. Eg: a cursor variable has datatype REF CURSOR
so it is declared as
TYPE refer_cur_type IS REF CURSOR
in ur case it will be
TYPE refer_foo IS REF foo
hope the info was useful
